              THE PROBLEM:

"America will never be destroyed from the
outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms,
it will be because we destroyed ourselves".
                                         ---Abraham Lincoln

How do you feel about elections continually being won by highly financed candidates instead of highly qualified candidates ?  Have you reached the point where you have finally had enough ?

Do you realize that back in 1860, presidential candidate Abraham Lincoln, an honest lawyer with a vision for how the business of government ought to be run, spent slightly under $100.00 in his successful campaign for the presidency of the United States.

Today, almost one hundred and fifty years later, through out this country, you can see what is now being spent on our election campaigns.  What do you think has happened to us as a nation that we have allowed ourselves to judge a candidates potential electability by their ability to raise campaign contributions ?

Have you ever found yourself wondering about just what is really going on behind the curtains of our government that would motivate certain individuals to invest the kind of money that now gets spent to attain public office?

Isn't it possible that once an individual invests so much money to attain an elected position, that they might feel like they possessed some ownership interest in that position?

Isn't it possible that having incurred a significant investment to attain an office, that certain elected officials might feel entitled to use that office to extract some type of return on that investment?

Coalition of independent voters for an informed citizenry seeks to coordinate the political power of non-bi-partisan aligned, third and minor party citizens into a non-polarized electoral swing vote.
